While the average life expectancy of the population is getting longer, the desire to achieve a healthy lifestyle is getting stronger. On the other hand, the quality of life such as bad eating habits, stress, cardiovascular diseases caused by environmental factors, various autoimmune diseases, cancer diseases and arthritis Patients with various diseases to drop are in an increasing trend. Of these patients with chronic diseases, 9~65% of them have experience using CAM, and more than 70% of cancer patients in Korea are known to have experience using oriental medicine and alternative medicine. This suggests that Western medicine has some limitations to meet the high quality health needs of modern people, especially the elderly, and it seems that the interest in Oriental medicine and alternative medicine is reflected as a way to effectively supplement Western medicine. In oriental medicine, the biochemical reaction or physical movement of the human body has a whole view that it acts in an organically organized state by the basic principle of the Yin and Yang Five Rows, Recognize as inductive from an anatomical point of view. From this difference, Oriental medicine has the drawback of not recognizing the partial structure or function of the human body, but it can explain many things that modern physiology does not know about systemic biochemical reactions and physical actions. However, the global trend is that western medicine is regarded as orthodox medicine, and in Korea, there is a lack of complementary awareness of two medical theories. Therefore, this study is based on the principle of Oriental medicine, Yin and Yang theory (yin and yang theories), the principle of mutual benefit, syncretism, ascension, And to suggest effective complementary treatment methods for various kinds of chronic diseases.
