Abstract

In 2008, hospital pharmacists around the world discussed the future of their roles, and the Basel Statements were written to guide the roles of pharmacist in hospital sector. In this review article, the overall process how the Basel Statements were first prepared and revised later on, and the implementation of the Statements, impacts to the hospital pharmacists worldwide are introduced, along with the Korean translation of the Basel Statements revised in 2014.
